Is the TaskPanzer Workflow Recorder free?

Yes. The Chrome extension is completely free to install and use. A TaskPanzer workspace (also free during public preview) is needed to sync and store workflows.

Does the extension record all the time?

No. Recording is strictly on-demand. The extension only captures actions when you explicitly press the Record button. There is no background tracking or monitoring.

Are passwords and sensitive data captured?

Password fields are automatically masked and never stored. You can also configure additional masking rules for emails, credit card numbers, and other sensitive inputs.

Can I use the extension without a TaskPanzer account?

The extension requires a free TaskPanzer workspace to save and manage workflows. Sign up takes seconds and the service is free during public preview.

What browsers are supported?

Currently Google Chrome is supported. A Firefox extension is in development and coming soon.

Can I share workflows with people outside my team?

Yes. You can generate a read-only public link for any workflow. Recipients view the documentation without needing a TaskPanzer account.

How are screenshots stored?

Screenshots are uploaded to your workspace's configured storage (default or your own S3 bucket via Bring Your Own S3). No screenshots are stored in the extension.
